Crispy Chilli Chicken

You have to try this Crispy Chilli Chicken, it really is gorgeous – who needs a Chinese Take away!!??

  • 4 Chicken breasts
  • 3 tbsp flour
  • Salt and pepper
  • 2 cm piece of ginger, grated
  • 1 Red chilli (or 2)
  • 3 Large spring onions, chopped into 2 cm pieces
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp sweet chilli sauce
  • Juice of a large lemon
  • 3 level tsp cornflour
  • 80 m water
  • Oil for frying


Step 1

Cut the chicken into small strips Coat in seasoned flour Deep fry and set aside

Step 2

Chop the onion and chilli and deseed the chilli, grate the ginger

Step 3

Mix the rest of the ingredients in a separate bowl Start to fry the chilli, onion and ginger and add the mixed remaining ingredients. Finally add the fried chicken, serve.
