The classic English treat, made with milk or cream.
- 400 ml Cream or milk or condensed milk
- 3 fresh medium eggs
- 2 Tbs sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Nutmeg grating
- Beat the eggs gently into the milk and add the sugar and vanilla extract.
- Pour into ramekins
- Set oven to 160 C fan or 170 C conventional
- Grate a little nutmeg on the surface
- Place ramekins in a bain marie and bake for 40 - 50 minutes
